Damn. I hope they cought the person who hit him

 

All that came to mind is he should get thegovernment and stateto run that video on Prime-time TV and try to educate people everywhere that we are out there too. Man that was messed up. What was really bad is he wasn't even moving when it happened.

 

Just a couple weeks ago, a sixteen year old intoxicated girl ran through a stop light and nailed a motorcyclist and his wife a few blocks away from where I work. The guy on the bike died about a week later. Sadly, there will always be people who don't give a crap about who they will harm with their thoughtless, selfish actions.

that is very tragic...I guess the person who hit him never got caught...I really think when a person goes through drivers training and takes the driving exam they should be informed about motorcyclists. So many people do not even thnik about us riders. That man was a perfect example of a law abiding victim that was badly hurt/almost killed because of someones impatience and probably lack of regard for the damage his vehicle could cause to a motorcyclist or anyone for that matter. The fact that he was not even moving and got that damaged is crazy. I hope the person that hit him has at least seen that video and can never sleep again. And if he has seen that video he comes forward and takes responsibility for his actions. But being that was a chicken **** move he pulled in the first place he probaby won't change.

At least the guy on the bike lived to fight many more days and spend time with his family.

 

they need to increase penalties for running into motorcycles with cars and trucks. maybe that will get peoples attention when they find out that they can get slapped in jail they will be more careful

My worst fear is getting slammed from a car that don't see me and my slime green bike.If it's something I'm doing unsafe it would be my fault but have had way too many close calls and most from drivers over 70 and the under 21 crowd yacking on their cells with both hands moving when they talk
