Just wondering for my own amusement I guess but, I was wondering what everyone's favorite bike they ever owned is and why; and also what you are currently riding.

I've only ever owned an 05 250 Ninja, so it's obviously my current and favorite.

Just recently upgraded to an 08 650R. I love this bike man. It seems wicked fast compared to the old 250 and, the handling is spot on. My new favorite.

 

I currently own an '01 and an '05 ZRX. I liked the '01 so much, I bought a 2nd.

I grew up riding KZ's. The ZRX was designed with that era in mind. It doesn't do one thing great, but it does many things very well.
It's a good commuter daily rider bike. Throw some saddle bags and a tank bag and it is a pretty good sport tourer. With a little suspension
upgrading, it's a pretty good track bike.

I've had my '01 since new. Had 1/2 mile on it. It now has over 81k. Never a problem out of it. It's been my favorite bike. You would think since I own 2. The only other of my previous bikes I would want back is my '80 KZ650.

 

Handful of ITs and Ktms from the late '70s to late 80s which I liked. Had a 2nd hand Ninja 250 which I liked. Currently an '08 ZX6r which I also like.

A couple of my favorite bikes, for the sheer grin factor, have to be the two-smokers; H-1, H-2. I've commented before here, but if you've never ridden one, you owe it to yourself to hit the powerband just once.
I still like my old heavy '95 ZX9. I like the styling; a bit more "fluid" than the new "razor blades." It does all I need it to do. Same goes for the ZX7's. Styling and development to the Nth degree, thanks to Scott and Muzzy. Very serious bikes in their day; excellent handling when set up properly. Would love to have one.
I admittedly still like the big old Suzy 1100E's, too. That huge round headlight looks like a freight train, with the power to match. Never owned one, but certainly lusted for one.
The old '86 Gxxer's had a great feel. Nice and light, with a GREAT sound when you wound 'em out. They can STILL surprise some of the newer riders.

 

I do not have a favorite really. The 84 Ninja 900 got me hooked on sport bikes. The ninja 750's and zx7's were die hards for a bike. In fact, I still have my 90 zx7 that I tracked. Would like to have a zrx, I like the styling as well. I almost gave the new 06 10r away when I first bought it. What a slug. Put some tweeks to it and now that is my grin factor/pucker factor bike. The EX500 is really growing on me fast right now as well. I like my kz1000 for sit up riding. Frickin beast though since I am more comfortable on lighter bikes. My favorite?

 

Well, my favorite is the ZRX. But it caught my attention because of its looks and my lust back in the day for the KZ1000R1. Back then I had a 1982 GPz750, that I truely did love. It got stolen so lost her the hard way. But even with my ZX-11 in the house, the ZRX is going nowhere

My current is my favorite, and it's a '01 Drifter. I had a '77 Honda 550SS that was a lot of fun back in the day. I rode a Yami TZR250 for a short while, and it was fun.

 

The 2010 Z1000 looks amazing. New bike for my wishlist!
