Default constant tire pressure drop

Hello

My rear tire - Dunlop Qualifier is constantly loosing pressure. It's about 1 psi every day. So for example in 4 days the pressure drops from 32-33 to 28psi.

My question is: i don't wanna get a new rear tire yet, so is there any way to fix this?

Thanks
Have a good day
-r.

it's never a good idea to repair a motorcycle tire puncture. Most shops won't even do it for you.

Although, if it were only a leaky valve stem or a bad bead seal, those would be a cheap and quick fix.

to know if it can be fixed first you must identify the cause of the problem

3 possible causes

punctured tire

leaking bead from lack of seam sealer

leaking valve stem - could be bad seal at base of stem, bad valve, or a prankster slightly unscrewed the valve to give you a slow leak

Ok, I've found 2 holes on the tire, one big one, one little one, both are letting air out.

I have 2 questions now:

I'm planning on getting a new tire, but in the meantime is it safe to ride with this 2 holes, while the new tire is getting shipped?

Thanks for your help btw

sounds iffy to me but in my 5 years i can't say as though I've ever come across that issues....I had an 03' bmw 325i though that the alloy wheels were pourous and the air leaked out of the wheels....that sucked ***...i thought my husband was playing a really mean joke on me for like months till I figured out the problem....
