I just purchased a 2012 klx250s(my 2nd one) over a new wr250r...dumb idea? maybe..but I dont think so....Just wanted to let any northeast people, (mainly NYers) that its a NEW leftover 2009 wr250r that the dealer will let go for $5000. beautiful machine let me know if interested in location.

 

I don't know that I would consider it a dumb idea. Your not really comparing the same machine. Both are new but one is really 3 years old. The second you roll away from the deal it doesn't matter what the purchase date is, just that is a 3 year old bike with little miles.

I don't know what I would have done as I have made it a practice not to buy new bikes. I like to find a slightly used bike and buy them.
