I have a ke100 with bad windings on the ignition side of the stator. I can't find a used one ANYWHERE. It is an obsolete part per Kawasaki, I found only one brand new one for 350.00. I paid less than that for the bike and will not spend that kind of money on it. Anybody know a stator that can be swapped or know where to get a used one? Is it feasible to swap to a points type on the 99 model year? I just need to get this thing running for my son's birthday and I'm getting nowhere fast. Thanks for any help. Check on the cost of a rewind.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into it. I hate counting windings and will do this as a last resort. I do have plenty of enameled copper though...
