there is a built in stop watch on the bike....press the button on the cluster a few times till you see something like 00.00.00 and on the right clip-on you will see a swith that says start/stop...

Thanks guys I was thinking that but thought it would be unsafe for the manufacture to put something like that on the bike, its encouraging unsafe speed.

Guess you could say it was a trip timer. Anyone ever use it?

i have used it a couple of times.....the only thing that sucks is that you have to remember that you are using it and hit the lap button....i usually forget to when i get to my destination...lol....but it is great to get rough estimates of your 1/4 mile times if you have the markers on a road
