Default 01 kx 250 cylinder?

Hey guys, im havin a problem with my bike. i bought this 01 kx 250 for 100 dollars. all it needs is a cylinder and top end rebuild kit. now the problem im having is finding someone to resleeve the cylinder. i was gonna buy a new one but i have read somewhere that other year cylinders will fit this bike. i heard from 94 to 03. is this true or not? i have compared part numbers from all the years from 94 to 03 and there all the same part number from kawasaki. and if so i have a brand new cylinder from my 94 i would like to use. would i buy a top end kit and power valves for an 01 or for a 94? PLEASE HELP!!!! lol

I would sway towards getting the '94 top end kit and power valves. I have not played with this ride or combo, but good luck.
