Default Need help on new helmet.

Hey guys and gals I am looking to but a new helmet. I am trying to stay around the $300-$350 range. I want something light and that is vented well. Suggestions and websites with prices would be great.

Hey dude i got my Shoei rf-1000 for like 280 during a sale at cycle gear, you might want to hold out for a sale or go try one on and see how it fits and then order it online.
I find that it is pretty well vented and comfortable.

shoei and arai are top of the line and if they arent on sale expect upwards of 600 for a good NEW one. dont ever EVER buy used. my joe rocket is nice and well vintalated and mine was around 300, little on the heavy side tho.

scorpions are nice but for me, they squeeze the top of my head too much... but they got some cool features, like the transition lens shield, that is awesome.

The Icon has a nice fit but a little noisy with the wind. Unless your pinned and all you hear is exhaust!

I agree Omalley I lik ehow the icon's fit and how the ventlation system is on them . They run up to around 300 for them depending on the style you want.

You may try out the AGV Stealth. They fit me well for an asking price in the $199 area. They also have different cheek pads and head liners to adjust the fit to your needs.
