SUX!!! Buy a Shoei, or an Arai. Youll thank yourself for spending a few xtra bucks now, instead of wanting to upgrade in 3 mos.

Hmmm, I'd take that as a negative vote, too.
FWIW, I'm a fan of the Scorpions (no; not the 80's rock band...). They make the 400 and 700 series helmets with quite a few bells and whistles (actually, they don't whistle). My favorite accessory is their photochromic (light sensitive) face shield; anti-fog, anti-scratch.Excellent value for dollar.

I have an AC-12 carbon. The lid is very light. Its just as light as my soumy spec 1r. It is a really breezy lid with good vents. My face getts pretty cold in the winter when I have the lid on. Its a bit noisey also. I wear ear plugs so that didn't bother me any. Can't beat it for looks. Who doens't like a carbon fiber lid

How bad are the HJC CL-15s? It is the only helmet I have foundthat can fit my big head (3XL). Me trying on an Icon at a local shop was like sticking a square peg into a round hole. Maybe if I sawed two in half and them fiberglassed them together?? Hmmmmmmmm...........

Unfortunate that Icon and some of the other Manu only go up to 2XL. I actually looked at the Scorpions, they have 3XL in the 400 series, but no one around here has them in house for me to try them on. Gonna keep lookin, but Shoei has a couple solid color ones, but looking for some patterns. Anyone use HJCs? And how good are those Scorpion Helmets?
