frank thomas jacket

so my jacket has this zipper thing on the inside lower back and it didnt come with anything attached to it. my friends has it too and has no idea what its for
any ideas?

It's for an insulating vest. Some jacket manufacturers make you buy it separately, other jackets come with the vest.

If it's the very bottom, it may be the outside heavy duty zipper to attach to the pants of a two piece.

yea if it goes across the bottomish part of jak its for attaching pants to make it 1 piece so if u slide down road your jak doesnt ride up just get super wedgie
