Default I've got an ER-6N

Hello,
First real post in here FTMFW!!!

Who else has an ER-6N?
What Year and Color?
I've got an '09 and it's Blue (only color available?)
I want to get the turn signal delete kit for the rear. The headlight is pretty funky but it's unique.

Default ER-6n

I recently bought a blue 2009 ER-6n for use when I'm visiting my son in the Chicago area. He rides a Yamaha FZ6 (as do I when I'm back home). On our first ride together, on a long open stretch of prairie he took off in front of me, but when I tried keeping up with him I almost got blown off the bike. Where in the USA can I order a good looking, effective wind screen?

Just purchased a 2009 ER-6N today, its Blue. Has 2200 miles on it!

Thought I would pop on and say hello, stinks there's not more discussion on this bike.

Congratulations on your new ER-6n. I think one of the reasons there's not much talk about this bike is that it's relatively rare in the U.S. I garage mine 1,000 miles away in greater Chicago (I'm in Massachusetts, but my son lives out there). I love the looks and feel of the bike--also a 2009, also Candy Plasma Blue. I bought it used with a 2 Brothers Racing muffler, which for me was way too loud. I managed to score an almost new stock muffler for cheap money, installed it, and now I'm happier. Still sounds darn good to me without scaring the neighbors, and it continues to run great.
Ride safe.
