Install Fender Eliminator
I am looking to get a fender eliminator for my 08' ZZR600 ... anyone have a website they know of that sells a nice and goodlooking product. Anyone out there have any pics of what their ZZR600 looks like with a fender eliminator ...? Also, how would I install it..? What types of tools would I need...? Is there a way to convert the turn signals to the taillights...? Thanks!
so many questions!! hah.
first off, welcome to KF!!
ok.. now, i'm just going off personal experience, but i've installed a bunch of competition werkes elim kits and they're pretty straight forward. the only thing i DON'T like about them is the CHEAP *** butt connectors they supply to power the tag light.
i hate em.. they're ugly and bright red. i use heat shrink and solder everything. FAR more professional, compact and lasts longer that way.
google that tho.. maybe theres more kits or something you'll like more.
every bike is different on their installs.
CBRs need part of the fender cut with a saw.. gixxers need nothing but the main plate bolted into place....
therefore, the tools differ. you might need a wrench.. you might need a toolbox full of stuff.
you CAN turn your turn signals into running/brake lights if you know the wiring good enough.. you'll have to convert them to dual-filament bulbs and sockets tho..
good luck!
