Default Help? Tightening Front axle nut locks wheel

Hello:
Tightening the front axle nut locks the wheel.
As I tighten the front axle nut, friction is applied to the wheel.
The wheel locks at only about 5 lbs of torque to the front axle nut and frees when you loosen it?

The Ex500 worked well until I removed the front wheel and had the Kawasaki dealer replace the tire and balance it.
Now upon installing the front wheel with the new tire, the wheel locks at only about 5 lbs of torque?

Please advise,
Thanks and good day
David

Check your parts break down on the front wheel assembly online or in your manual. Making sure that the speedo housing and all spacers are in the correct position.
