Nah I meant that the '00 to '02 had dual headlights and both came on as low and high...or at least I think they do. I might be wrong...I have an '03 for the street and just run the highbeams at all times. Mostly because I got tired of everyone telling me that I have a light out.
My '00 is a stunt bike and has been streetfightered, so I am running some 55W driving lights on the front. One comes on for low, and both come on for high...just like my '03.

Yes. I had kits for sale but ran out of supplies. I am still waiting for bulbs to show up from another supplier. My supplier is out of stock & the new ones I got are 100/55watt; too much current draw for our systems. Do you want a Pn'P kit or DIY kit? I can do it all also if you send me your headlight assembly. PM me.

If you guys/ gals don't want to wait for me to get these bulbs, I can make the kits with PIAA or Silverstar bulbs but with the added cost of the bulbs.

Speed one thing that I would add is that when pulling out the connections you may want to attach a piece of string to the ends so that it makes it easier to pull the new wires back through. Great post and it works great.

 

That's a good idea. I've done it so many times that it's easy for me and having the right tools helps. I use a pair of super long surgical hemostats to pull the wires through. Also taping the wires together make it easier.

 

off topic for this thread, but yet related...

98 zx9, stock turn signals. I want to basically inverse how they operate so I have running lights. Right now they are off and blink on. I want them to be on and then blink off. What do I need to do? Someone said somthing about redundant collapsing relays, but it doesn't sound right to me. Can you point me in the right direction?
