05 636 spools/swing arm sliders
Not sure about anyone else, but when i saw spools(swingarm frame sliders) for the first time i really didnt know what they were for or where exactly they went. So here is how to install them on an 05 636.
1. You will need set of allens and loc tight. ( loc tight blue-semi permanent) and of course spools
2. Add loc tight to the threads of the bolts that came with the spools
3. Use #8 metric allen to screw bolt into threaded hole on swingarm. (one on each side)
Thats about it!! Here are some pics to show you were they go. I hope this helps!!
Spools are used for bike stands and also as swing arm sliders in case the unfortunate happens!!! (plus they look cool)

Nice post. Slidders and spool slidders are needed just in case. Here is a picture of a 15.00 spool slider that saved about 600.00 in posible damages.
