I just use the water and simple green (automotive wash) to wash the bike! Shine up the plastics with Plexus (awesome stuff!) When I get really ambitious I use premium Turtle Wax for waxing.

Plus a little old fashioned 'elbow grease'. Thats it.

The best and easiest way to clean your bike is to use Honda Polish. (ask 056r, i got him hooked) All u do is spray it on, wipe off and your done. Its safe enough for your windscreen and strong enough to get the chain lube and road dirt off of your bike. Just use those really soft automotive towels. Takes about 15 min to do the whole bike. I will take a pic of the can and post it.

My bike is waxed at least once a week with mother's so as far as washing goes I use simple green on engine and wheels only the plastic is just powerwashed off cause it is never really dirty. after that everything is blown dry to prevent rust, then I ues wd-40 and whipe the wheels down it is better then waxing them due to it is faster and it just wipes on, btw my wheels are black so it gives them that beyond new look... I also use wd-40 to spray on my engine it gives it a good coat against harsh weather and helps prevent rusting on bolt heads.

This stuff is the BOMB isn't it!!?? I swear by this little can. I walked into a Honda dealership (when I still had my 2000 CBR F4)to buy my wife a helmet and ended up buying this stuff instead.

I don't know how many washes I've gotten myself out of with it. I never tried using it to clean my chain though. Gotta try that one next.

i picked up a can of that honda cleaner and dammm. that stuff kicks ***. 5 bucks a can and a hell of a good cleaner and degreaser. worth it to use just on getting the chain lube off your rims. also picked up a can of plexus plastic cleaner, was like 8 bucks a can. hit up the wind screen and it took all the little swirl marks out of it and buffed it up pretty well.
