Painting my 01 ZX-600
Just got the bike a few weeks back. Only 7k on the motor, so after redoing all the fluids for my own knowing I'll be repainting the bike.
The guy that had it before me dropped it at least once. So it has a few scratches down the sides and a dent in the tank.
I'll be ordering my new (used) tank tomorrow. Its coming in red. But I plan on sanding the tank and plastics down and then just doing everything in a flat black. Nothing fancy.
Just wanna see if anyone has any expierence in this and wants to give me any heads ups or tips.
Thanks in advance...

Just make sure you've epoxiedany cracks in the plastic; don't just sand over them and think the paint will "fill them in." (and don't just use some cheapo glue.) It's too late after you've painted, when the cracks begin to very slowly creep and get bigger.
Hope this helps.
