Turn Signal Electrical Help
Hi All; I'm working on my 1978 KZ650B that has an electrical problem. When I turn the key to On, the Left-Front turn signal bulb comes steady but it's weak, and none of the other ones come on. Shouldn't they all light up?
When I hit the turn signal switch for each side, they Do work but they seem to be slow - there's like a one-second/ maybe a little longer interval between flashes, which seems kind of slow to me. The right side turn signals seem to work 'OK', but the left side is really slow.
Also, for what it's worth, the high beam on the headlight doesn't work either. The Low beam is fine, but I have no hi beam.
The bike runs fine except for this electrical problem. I think it might be the relay, but I could be wrong, so I thought I would ask for an opinion before I go taking things apart. A ground/bad ground, maybe? I cleaned all the connections but the problem remains.
