Hi,

I was taking apart the carb on a 1987 zx600rx and ran into a piece connect to carbs not in manual or parts store and something I have never seen before. Basically this connected to the bottom of the carb by tubes (one for each carb. The long end went into a hole in the airflow gasket connecting air box and carb. I have no idea what’s this is and haven’t seen it on another bike before (granted my first old sports bike to work on). Any ideas?





Just want to add it looks like these were connect to the carbs drain plug but plug was replaced with a nosel… no idea what’s going on here ha
