Angry trying to wheelie 1990 zx10

I own a 1990 zx10 and yes it's a heavy bike but still fast enough to keep up with modern bikes. I've ridden wheelies on other bikes and it's not this much work. It feels as if it doesn't want to get up but I'm very persistant. Trying to leave it stock but maybe a gearing change will work. Can anyone help a brother out?

hahaha, welcome to KF

The object of the zx's were to stay planted. One heck of a launcher off of the line. Now you want to re-engineer the ride? wow You will find that the balance point is really high because of the geometry and am sure that it will have a smaller room for error to stay in that area. Personally, I would be concerned on the front holding up on stunts. The 10 is a rocket for sure. Enjoy the new ride

What size is your back sprocket? your best bet is to change it to a bigger one. 50 teeth works pretty good and you can still ride it around alot, the freeway kinda sucks.
