Default 1984 KawasakiGPz 750r TROUBLE!

ight i got a 1984 kawasakigpz 750r. i had a somewhat what you can call a wiring harness but i ripped it all out.. im waiting to learn how to wire it myself, if anyone can help me please contact me on aim PuFFedOuT420 or by email pitbullr6@hotmail.com. but now that i read this forum i think it was somthin else. the bike was kickin' like it wanted to start, compression and air would come from the two exhuasts but never idled and started. i think i might need to clean my carbs. does anyone have and ideas on how to go about these problems?

1st you need to get a repair manual for that bike.[sm=goodidea.gif]
2nd put the wire harness back in.[sm=headbang.gif]
3rd take it to a mechanic.[sm=joke.gif]

Check your plugs and spark. +1 on getting a manual. Welcome to the forums.

carbs and electrical problems at the same time can be recipe for disaster[&:]i know this because a buddie of mine had a 84 gpz 750 he made custom plastics for it. during all his mods he was doing he must of wired it wrong, he was all finished with it and one day going down the freeway it died on him by the time he pulled over to the side of the road it was already on fire. he pulled the seat off and the flames got worse, no one pulled overto help,he tried grabbing dirt and throwing on it, but it too late andit burned on the side of the road[&o]so i guess after that long *** story im saying becarefull and take your time.
