Default 1977 Kz900

Well everyone would like to say a HUGE hiya, since I am new to these forums. Just got a 1977 Kz900 yesterday. Didn't pay a dime for it but it needs some work. Anyone know of some good places to get parts besides jcwhitney and ebay? This is my first real bike project, I want to build it for show.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bbunge

I have never really found much worth buying from JC whitney IMO. eBay is great for restoration projects, you sometimes have to wait though for your part in need to show up there. www.oldbikebarn.com and www.bikebandit.com are great places for KZ parts.

Good luck on your project, and welcome!

go to a store like barnes and noble and in the magazine section you will find Walneck's Classic Cycle Trader. They have quite a few parts places listed, some are Kawasaki-only.
also www.z1enterprises.com

Yup KZrider....

I forgot Ive been a member there for years...

Outside of that the only bit of good info I have heard as everyone is eliminating all the fusable links etc ...Hard wiring them to get rid of all the old electrical issues....A guy around me is buying all of them that are left and rewiring them and hot rodding them....Good Luck
