Take a look guys my Ira's 636 is lowered and stretched 6". This has helped him a lot at the Drag Strip.

Dont worry bout it kawigirl, us "sportbike" people are alittle more open minded. We can admit a nice bike wether its a sportbike or not. Some of us around here seem to have a problem with bikes other than what they own. cough ***cough LOL Lets save the chicken and beer for the winner!!! NO MATTER WHO IT IS!!!!! LOL

in all fairness I did not lower my bike I was pointing out the my husbands 636 is lowered and stretched. should I nominate him? He is a quasi member because I talk about him so much, right?:)

lol, I love both dual sports and sportbikes, I'd have another sport bike too if I could afford it. I use to have a 2000 GSXR600, great bike, and I do miss cruising on the highway...one thing the KLX is not great for lol. But I enjoy being able to jump from the road and right into the woods on the KLX. It's funny watching the cops stare at you as you drive by them on the KLX, they're not sure if this thing would be allowed on the road or not lol.

He has the performance upgrades (TM33 etc), the suspension upgrades (Moto Pro)and the graphics along with many other upgrades. He has built a very nice bike IMO.
