I have a '05 1600 Classic. I need new seats. My wife rides for 40 or so mins. and is terribly uncomfortable. Has anyone gotten custom seats for comfort, rather than artwork?

 

Hey check out some seat from corbin. The seat's are kinda hard at first but after there broke in there really nice. I'm sure they might make some thing for your bike.

 

I have an '05 Nomad and the wife says the passenger seat on it is very comfortable. We took a 4 hour ride to bike week in OC Maryland and she didn't complain at all. We made a couple of stops for gas and food but it was still alot of time on the bike. From what I hear you can't order the Nomad seat anywhere online. It only comes with the Nomad package. But, I was talking to a parts guy at the dealer who said he can order them as a repair item. You might want to try your dealer. My last bike had a Mustang seat. It was pretty comfortable also. Good luck. A comfortable seat is a must if you want to do any long rides.

 

Does anyone know if the Mustang seat for the Nomad is more comfortable than the stock seat?

 

They are expensive, but look at Day Long Seats. I have heard from many people who own this seat say it is the best seat on the planet. Rltide
