I have a 07 1600 Nomad and need to know if adding 3 in. risers is a do-it-yourself project and if any cables have to be modified? Also, I want to add kuryakyn grips and cruise device.

Any info on this being a diy project would be appreciated.

 

I added Aeromach 4" risers to my 05 Nomad. I did not have to re route any thing. Also able to do it my self and I am no mechanic. I found them at www.meancycles.com. Made the bike easier to handle and steer at low speed and also helped shoulder fatigue.
