I have a 2004 Nomad 1500. I am getting a popping sound coming from the intake when my bike is cold. When it warms upit goes away. Any ideas?

 

Welcome to the forums... They make a FI and carb bike in the 1500 that year. I would say yours is prob carb. Usually popping back is wrong air/fuel mixture. IE: stuck float, fouled plug, running choke too long, dirty carb etc....

 

yup, the fouled plug seems to say "see me first". Then find out what caused the fouled plug.
