airbox removal from vulcan 1500a

Default airbox removal from vulcan 1500a

Does anyone know of a cheap way to remove the airbox from a 1992 vulcan 1500a ? If so I could sure use some help.

You could install air pods in the air box's place, but your engine will run like crap unless you rejet the carbs, and re-route the emission lines.I wouldn't mess with it. I've seen too many people here have problems after they removed, or "modified" their air cleaner housing. It's just not worth it for the mediocre power gain you will achieve. (or not achieve)

This is more for looks and to make filter replacement easy
