Well Ive been talking to my girl and doing alot of thinking and i might be selling my ninja to a buddy of mine. She told me it scared her when i ride it as i put it to its full potential...and i wouldnt mind not having to worry about the bike payment. Im still gonna keep the valkyrie....but I need to get rid of some bills....seeing as im going to be taking a big step in life and hopefully we will soon be a family like me and my girl talked about. We still need to get her a car....and this will make it alot easier. I hope nobody will mind if I stick around here. Im hoping that given the right amount of time she might come around and maybe ill get a zx14.

I see a lot of support for your girlfriend. But, if she is skittish now with bikes and you sell it because of this, I see issues down the road. Now financially, that would be a smart move on your part. You work your shift and she can work her shift, before you know it you both have a car and can still keep the ride.

dragone...its not that its a bike...its cuz its a crotch rocket. Right now me and her are on hold since she needs to get some stuff worked out....and housing is taking longer than we hoped.

TX, a bike is a bike. How you use your ride of choice, it still is a bike, A tool of choice. I understand you are "on hold" with relations. Best of luck and decisions to ya on that.
Just an example, I kept most of my rides, got involved and pretty much retired from racing to put the money elsewhere that was needed more, and I was cool with that. I kept full intentions on hitting the tracks up again and my woman knew it. No hiddens or false pretensions happening. Hell, now she is telling me to hit the track again once she seen me almost hit 192mph and, she is watching races with me now. Oh, and housing is always iffy it seems.

Well she will ride the valkyrie with me all day if i want her to....she just wont get on the ninja...dont like it ect
