04 KX250F won't start
Hi,
I have a KX250F that has been sleeping in the shed for about 3 years. Before it got abandoned, We have had a mechanic adjust the valves and it started. Although, I have never been able to start it up again, so I am giving a shot at it this spring!
The carb is all cleaned up!
Even if I shoot some carb cleaner in the intake or in the spark plug hole, it won't start.
The brand new spark plug does a really nice spark
I can tell it looks like (looking from the spark plug hole) there is some carbon deposit on the piston.
I am a bit lost... what could be my problem?

Compression fuel and spark are 3 essential needs for a four stroke to start. I would check the carb with it off and twist the throttle. See if the AP (accelerator pump) is spiting fuel. If it is not that the first sign you carb needs cleaned. If its got gas and has spark then it is a compression issue. Check the timing first then check the compression. If its super easy to roll over then i would lean toward compression. Please test and check and get back to us.
