praise for IMS tanks (customer service)
Hi all,
A little background, back about a month ago I bought an IMS black 3 gl tank for my KLX.
Installed it, great look (like stock). Then it started leaking from rear fuel insert. Took it apart, cleaned everything, changed O ring, put it back together. AND it leaked again in 2 days.
Sent a rather strong Email to IMS, and heard back from Daniel. Even though I did not buy tank directly from IMS, Daniel was incredible. I sent a pic of the leak, and he determined that it was an insert leak, and BAM! Another new tank was in the mail to me, no questions. AND shipped to me in Canada, which MOST U.S. companies refuse to do because I'm "international".
This is customer service. Our product is screwed, so here comes a new one. Our apologies.
I don't think I've ever dealt with an easier to deal with company before.

That's very true but a lot of company's these days try to blame the consumer for any problems with a product.
