Default Cogent springs

Who here has used Cogent fork and/or shock springs in their 2009+ klx250s? Are these the correct length? Did you also use special valving from them like "gold valves or DDC's"? Are you happy with the product? The time for upgrading my suspension is coming and just doing my homework before spending the cash. I'm pretty happy with Cogents products in my DR650. For those that have used Moto Pro, did you do a full revalve or go with their Ultra Max vlave kit? Thanks for any help.

I had MotoPro put in .46 springs and do a revalve/rebuilt. Seems to work pretty good on the trail. At higher speeds on the trail I think I could use some more stiffness, I don't know if that would mean springs or valving.

So you sent your forks to him to revalve instead of opting to buy and install the Ultra max yourself? He put .46's in but you think you should have went to .48's? I get that. With only 10 inches of travel, think I'd want to error on the stiffer side. Have you tried turning your compression adjuster in? Did you only do the fronts?

I had him do the work, shipped them from AZ. I don't know right now, I might have been busy at the time.
The target is always moving..... when I talked to him I didn't/couldn't ride fast in the rough. Once I got the shocks back they handle so much better, plus I went to MX tires, and my speed has picked up a lot. I keep telling myself to I like to trail ride, but I end up trying to tear up the place (for me anyway).
I did the front/rear www sizing route and got what they recommended. I didn't stiffen up the rear.... but I have been bottoming the rear out a little more now too, so I am running the rear shock almost full compression setting now. I think the front is a little less, I rather have the rear go first. I hate the front end washouts.
So, at this point, if I had went stiffer, I could now be running a little less compression. But I have to say the bike is handling pretty good.
