I am having problems with my kill switch and wanted to change out the original start button and kill switch and thought I had seen threads on this years ago but can only find this...

Worried about breaking that cute start button?

Anyone changed out the start and kill switches or know the thread showing how to do this?

I found the starter button at Radio Shack for 3.49

 

If you take the switch unit apart, you may be able to determine what the issue is.
