I've looked through the history a bit and tried the search, but didn't find a match for this. I am interested in which models can interchange parts. Any and all info would be appreciated. Specifically, I am looking at front wheels. I purchased an '05 for my daughter and the front wheel has a bent lip. I know I can send it off to be repaired, but if the cost is the same or lower to purchase a wheel-I want to spend the least amount possible. The fairings are pretty well toasted as well, anyone have a suggestion on replacements. I put Cheetah on my son's '02 ZX6R, but they required a decent bit of modification to get to fit.

An '05 zzr? Any 01 parts will fit, I'm not sure why the 02 parts didn't.

 

Sorry, maybe I confused the issue. My initial question was on what years and/or bikes would fit the '05 ZZR. So then the front rims from the 98-02 ZX6R would fit on the '05 ZZR? How about the '05-08 ZX6R/RR rims? I would think the bearings would be different and possibly the internal spacer. But $20 should about take care of the bearings and can reuse the spacer from the current rim.

The second part was about getting fairings. The '02 is my son's ZX6R and I put Cheetah fairings on it, but they required quite a bit of trimming to make them fit.
