i was wondering if anyone knows if the 03 04 636 headers would fit the 2006 zzr cause i know they fit the 02 zx6r and most of the parts for that bike fit mine but i just wanna make sure befor i buy new headers

I kind of doubt it. Different engine probably equals different headers inside and out. But I have been wrong once before. :D

Sorry, I missed the part about the 02 6R. If they are the same ^he is right. Are you trying to use the entire system from a 636? I wonder what the ramifications of the different exhaust pressures, etc. are for using that exhaust on this engine.

IIRC the 00-02's are pretty much identical. Plus people are using a header from a 636 on their ZZR's

Yeah, I know the 00-02 6r, and the 05-08 ZZR is identical. I was just surprised that the 636 header fits on a 599cc bike. I just wanted to see if he was only thinking of using the header, or the entire exhaust.
