Just trying to find out how much of the tank is dedicated to fuel reserve. The reason i ask is i get about 100 mi. before i have to switch to reserve and fill up asap. Trying to get an around about figure of how far i can get onthe reserve, or better yet what I'm truly getting as far as mpg's are concerned.

 

Well your tank should be 4.5 gallons total and I believe the specs "say" that the reserour ve is a gallon but it all depends on how much your tank is sloshing around. And my personal opinion is that the tank is a bit larger. And as for you miles per gallon just fill your tank full, reset the odometer to zero and when you have to swiitch to reserve fill the tank back up and take the miles you just rode and divide that by the gallons you just filled up = mpg

 

I believe it is actually 4.9 gallons.
