Default wheelie

ok so im starting to want to get a little stupid on my bike now. i have a 93 zx7. i'm a big guy about 300lbs. any tips on gettin her up in the air? ive watched numerous videos and stuff but i guess it really comes down to i'm a scared chicken and i'm trying to be easy about it. aka i wld like to live a few more years. just keep it going easy and eventually get there or start growing some ***** and let her rip?

I have an 89 ZX7 and I can tell you the weight and wheelbase onthe 7 are not the best for wheelies. Thats not to say you cant do it, it just takes a bit more effort. I've never had the ***** to clutch mine up, but I did get it to power up twice (actually more dangerous that way but it just doesnt seem like it) I had to have it at a high RPM and jump on the front to compress the forks then power up on the rebound. Only worked 20% of the time, mostly because of my timing, but after a couple I was satisfied and havent tried since. If you really want to get stupid I would suggest building a stunt bike. You can build a starter for under 2k and dont have to worry about messing up your daily ride.

The zx7 is a solid ride. Which makes it a handful in cornering compared to some of the shorter wheel-based rides out there. Just continue to learn your ride and be conservative until you know how your ride behaves. I too prefer to live another day. (can ya tell that I am not a stunter? lol) be safe, gear up and get comfy with your ride.

ive done it a few times clutchin up. thats what most of the videos that i watched said to do. i'm probably just doing it wrong plus being a chicken. because actually i can get higher blasting from first to second and shifting hard then i can trying to tap the clutch.
