When doing a stand up is it better to clutch up or power up? I keep hearing mix oppinions on this.

From what I have heard is that clutching it up is more controllable, therefore easier to ride a wheelie.

it's MUCH easier to get the front end up with the clutch and you don't have to bounce it as much. i was just trying to learn this at the end of last season, it is a bit awkward at first trying to slip the clutch while you standing.

ohh man.. gear up dude. its literally a world of difference.

clutch it.
don't just rev and drop it tho.. rev and at the same time let the clutch out while still feeding the gas.. don't drop it at 8,000 rpm.. listen to a pro stunter on a video..... the motors just off idle.. about 3 grand.. he'll gas it and almost instantly let off the clutch, and you hear how fast it is.. he lets the momentum of the engine snap the bike to b.p. and by the time the forks are about level, or the tank is just about to your chest.. you wanna let off and start feeding the rear brake and gas lightly to catch b.p. and maintain it.

its uber easy on a geared up bike.. trust me. 1 or 2 days and you'll be rockin slow seat standers. a month, you'll be doing circles.

i already have a down 1 for the front. I just need to get the rear one now. I'm looking at getting a 53T or a 55T.

what's easiest way to fix the speedometer once you put bigger rear sprocket on? i was wondering before i do to my bike because one of my riding buddies that put like a 53 on his 6 and the speedo registered a speed that was way way more than he was going.

get a speedo heal if you really want it...what you do is you are changing the sensor by splicing wires and then uploading how much margin of error you are...it will act like the sensor except tell a more precise speed...

but it isn't worth it unless you are either trying to race..but since you are stunting it shouldn't matter nor should you bother with one...
