Default got a 95 mph speeding ticket...

ya so i got a speeding ticket the other day on the highway for going 95 in a 70. doesnt really seem like a big deal to me, but i have to go to court now and im not real excited about it, anybody have any tips or stories similar to this?

got a ticket for 91 in a 55 - sold the car and took the sale slip to court to show the judge how seriously "sorry" i was - didn't tell him the car i traded it in for was faster.

got the ticket reduced.

aside from that just say how sorry you are and how you'll never do it again - don't make excuses, make him think you really learned your lesson.

traffic school. that way it don't stay on your record.

make sure to be respectful, yes your honor no your honor. if you go to a local court chances are there will be a lot of other speed addicted individuals in there with you that will make you look better because they don't know how to talk to/respect a judge.

I haven't had a ticket since I was 18 and that was back in 1982, I've worked too hard to get cheap insurance rates. Now as I get older and head into my golden years it will probably go up just because I can't remember where I parked my car.

respect is the number 1 thing that and like Koburn said, let them know how sorry you are

what state are you from? in nj, theres something you can plead where you get 0 points but pay 200$ more.
