2006 zx6 track build
 

As title states. Picked up a 06 zx6 with a clean title and cracked frame for $600. Found a welder to fix the frame for me. Kid I got the bike from made all kinds of questionable mistakes I've been working through to get the bike in good shape. My biggest head scratcher is the carb vent tube. I know it's a carb vent tube from research I've done. But why is it run through a ram air port. And why in the world did he put a spark plug in it??

Why did the person I bought this 06 zx6 from, put a spark plug into what seems to be the carb vent tube?
