Thread Jack - Fourty2ri - Do any surfing by any chance? I was at Green Hill Beach in RI all day yesterday having fun with the Hurricane Bill surf! Was 6-9ft all day, nice and clean... Great time.

I used to live near green hill. Used to boogie board at green hill beach. Used to go around the bend to the left in front of the Green Hill Beach Club.

The last time I was down there( about 4 years ago. It said it was closed to the public(no more lifeguards). I went to a friends house and asked what the deal was( I moved out of RI in 1990 and it was my first time back since then). He told me they closed Greenhill and Charlestown, and opened up 1 beach and called it South Kingstown beach. Said they also banned Jetski's.

I remember boogie bording in the surf from Huricane Gloria. I broke my board that day when I hit a rock dropping into the way.

You guys get red tide this year? That **** used to make me break out in hives and inch all over.
