I assume a skid plate for a 300 fits the 250 the same. Am i correct...Alot of stores dont list a plate for the 250, but do for the 300.

 

It's been a while but I recall that NO the 300 skidplate will not work on a 250. Utah sportcycles has a specific plate for the 250. Here's a link.

According to the utah skid plate link posted above=======the skid plate fits 1997-2008 KLX300 AND the 2006-2009 KLX250s.........so as I read it YES the KLX300 skid plate works. Unless the guys at utahsportscycle drilled an extra hole or two to make it fit both.

 

You might be right. Like I said it's been a while since this has been discussed. I'm thinking it might have been before Utah did their mock up and our choices were very limited.

 

well, this sucks then..i'm looking into this one http://www.oemcycle.com/Item/product/2429, but want to want to make sure it fits first....anyone have this on their 250
