Dumb, nothing but dumb. He could have at least been the smarter idiot and constructed a wheelie bar to prevent just that. but nobody thinks about the physics of doing such things. Anyway, I saw a guy pull a wheelie down I-45 service road one day on a clear two-mile stretch. I was doing 70 on my bike on the freeway and he was keepin it right at 68 or so for about a minute and a half. Having the time to watch him, one can analyze just what happens to the rear wheel while it holds supports 450 lbs and pressure from the driveline...the entire section that makes contact with the road was flat it had so much force and the tire looked like it would burst. So moral of the story is, tempting as it may be, its an accident waiting to happen. Not an if, but a when. dido on the if I offend anyone, but...

It's amazing how after the bike goes end over end a few times it pops back on the tires and ghost rides out a bit.
