my buddy was telling me (his uncle is getting the 500+hp one) that the base gt500 was around 40-50k and the one that rolls out with the 500hp was like 80k

 

ok the ls7 is 525hp stock, add a sc with intake and your looking at a easy 600hp. werd. the 400hp non sc one i allmost bought was enough ***** to have fun in. plus luxery. caddy boyee allthough its a gm.

 

He has a K&N CAI and the Borla Stinger catback on now and the SCT programmer, w/ a 2.89 pulley to put on as soon as he can get the puller. I guess the Eaton blower has a "special" puller. He has 100,000 mile warrenty so he has to be able to put the original pulley back on in case something happens and if he doesnt use the right puller it will mark the blower. As Is, he is about 415 hp. He should be at 475hp or so w/ the pulley. He is going to get it dyno'd as soon as he gets the pulley on.
The only thing I dont like about the car, I haven't been allowed to drive it[:@] Still working on that though.

What the svt isnt fast!!!! About a year ago a guy pulls in in a 04 svt we add the pully, catback, headers, and diablo programer and this car hits 560hp to the wheels.... TO THE WHEELS 560HP!!!!!!!! If thats not fast I dont know what is, well I do but ya know what I mean.

7.0 liter 429 !! You don't hear of those motors very much anymore. Came out in the stang in 1969 originally, then Nascar used them for a while. 429 hemi ford Big Block. Skirtless just like the 302 but sh1tloads bigger.

Your 429 cobra jet is what? 360 hp if I remeber.... Didn't they make a 429 SCJ also... The super cobra jet was higher horse. The 460 shared the same block also. The cranks were differnt, but connecting rods the same. The 429 came with steel forged cranks stock.

That's a find right there. I had one once, and kicked myself in the ars for getting rid of it... You can stroke that bad boy to a 540 ci easy. Stroke it, P and P, intake, definatley change those rattley lifters, cam it.... Easy 600 hp of naturally aspirated horses... WHEW!!
