Default KLX250 footpegs relocate

Hi. Is there a foot-peg available that move the position back? I'm 6'0" size-13 foot. and the position of the pegs are too far forward.

Get a set of pegs, cut them vertically at the point where the peg sticks out from the mount, weld a 1/4" plate with the drop you want onto the mount hanging down, then weld the peg on the plate.

But really I'd recommend you get the seat upholstered about 2" thicker and use either ATV bars or a set of risers. No loss of ground clearance sticking your feet down there in harm's way. Rik Smits, former NBA center at 7'3", has done that from pictures of him I've seen, showing him racing his vintage MX bikes. Bultaco used to do the same for Jim Pomeroy, who was upwards of 6 feet tall.

Guts Racing tall seat and pivoting handlebar risers are the win for me! I hated the KLX's stock seat!
Then a longer shifter.

6'1", 34" inseam, size 13 boots.

Another option might be to use weld on footpegs wideners. Weld it flush with the forward surface and have the widened part to the rear to shift your center point rearward

The seat seems like it should be an automatic for the tall rider, add height AND comfort! You should take a picture of the bike with the seat to show what the deal is.

It really raises the front end of the seat near the tank where the stock seat sucked me in. Good comfort for trail riding. I wouldn't pick it for long in-the-seat rides. When I do a long seated ride, I toss on the Sweet Cheeks. Sweet Cheeks | Cycle Analyst.

Here's a pic of my KDX220 in front and the KLX250 in back with the guts racing tall seat.

I just put a new right foot peg mount on this morning. I don't think this would work, there is too much load, unless you have a expert welder, and I don't know if that peg is weldable steel. I think going up with a taller seat is the ticket.

+1 for the guts racing tall seat. Even though I’m not going to keep it (I’m 5’8”) on the crf I just got, it sure is soft n comfy

Guts racing no longer makes these higher seats for 2009 KLX250S bikes. Bummer. Seat concepts do not do anything higher than stock height. So my only option is Mr. Eds . Luckily I'm one hour away so I made an appointment. Talked on the phone with him and I'm hoping this will cure my sore but and knee's.

ekim,
I wonder if they ever did. Does anyone here know how different the 06/07 seats are from the 2009+?
I'll offer you a proposal....
I switched from soft to medium foam and have the soft one in my garage taking up space. Would you be interested in giving it a try?
