I heer you
Hey Crash, I'm kinda in the same boat, only on a personal machine. I just bought a 2016, 4010 Trans W/600hr on it. It has the 2" lift you railed about in another post. The Num-Nut that put the wheels on last crossthreaded 3 lugs on BOTH front drums. They just ran them up anyway with the impact !!!! SO now I'm looking at $300-$400 in tools JUST to R&R the front drums so I can replace the studs . I'm on the fence with you lift conclusions. If 1.5" f & .5" r lift trashes every DL component on the machine DAM that sucks. I'm considering keeping the lift going to 25x10x12 tires (from the 26" on it). I'm hoping the issues you've seen are more from 26" tires & employees driving like they stole it other than the lift itself ?? What do you think about that ?? Also I'm sure they are always in HIGH which can't be good. Ebay has all the tools I supposedly need ($400 worth !!) BUT CRAP that's ridiculous just to get at the brake shoes !!! Just happened to pull the wheels to clean & check things out this weekend SO I still don't know what I going to do/use yet. ANY HELP is GREATLY APPRECIATED.....
