hey guys,

I just bought a 97 ZX-6R as my first bike. I don't know what the part is called, but it's the little plastic piece that the headlight snaps into, I have the wiring, and lught bulb (needs a new bulb), but I need the part that holds it all together. I was hoping someone on here would save me from a dealership!

Yeah, that's it! I stopped in the local Kawasaki dealership last night and they said they can't even order it. I was thinking of trying this web site: http://www.babbittsonline.com/but if the dealership can't order it I doubt they can get it.

The dealership said I could bring my bike in and they'd see what they could rig up.... don't know how that sounds...

 

I also need to snag a new headlight. Was thinking of grabbing some PIAA Hyperwhites off of Ebay. You guys know what bulb these things take? I couldn't tell by the numbers on the on-line listings.
