Trade 2009 klx250s plastics, red for green or black
 

Does anyone have a green or black 2009+ KLX250S that they'd like to make red? If so, I'd be interested in trading plastic (only the colored pieces). Front fender, rear fender, headlight shell, radiator shrouds.

When I got mine, the only one available was red. :mad: I really wanted green.:D Mine are still in great shape - it's only been in the dirt a few times, and I haven't crashed it...yet. I'm looking for similar condition green or black pieces.

Please help, I want my bike color to match my blood (I bleed green;))!

Is your request still active and wouldn't you need the side panels too. My bike has a stripe on the upper portion that matches the color scheme. My bike has only 279 miles on it and the plastic is pristine. Does your plastic have any scratches and/or any flaws?

Oh yes, the request is still very much active! :D Including the sidepanels too would be ideal because of that colored decal you mention...I just left it out before because that decal could be changed if necessary.

My bike has 1497 miles at the moment, almost all of them on pavement or gravel roads, and I have not dropped it in the dirt (yet). The plastic is all nearly perfect. The side panels have the only flaws I'm aware of - minor scuffs from the top of my boots rubbing on them near the lower front corner. There isn't any depth/profile to the scuffs, they're just black marks; they can probably be washed out, but I've never tried.

I do not want to hijack this thread, so once the original posters plastic are gone, then can I be next in line? I am buying 2 brand new klx250s in red color but wish I had the option of black or green, dealer said there are not any around. Anyone want to set up a swap once I get the bikes? dealer is bringing them in, should be picking them up at the end of the week, already gave him a deposit.

Yeah, I've still got my red plastics. I've only had one bite, and he found another person to trade with local to him.

If you happen to hear of multiple people who want to trade other than on this thread please let me know too.

I would like to buy some red plastic. My bike is red and I love it. Just need to replace some scratched up pieces. If anyone wants to sell, shoot me a price and maybe we can make a deal.

I might be interested also. I have green bike, I do have a couple of scratches but nothing too big.

just my two cents but my plastics had some minor fade on the tops from being in the sun its first year of life, but i took some wetsand paper to it and resprayed it a little bit brigter green, came out great, aside from the decal sheets seems a color change would be just as easy maybe some primer in between and some clear after.....just a suggestion might even be cheaper than shipping
