Drums for sale - Roland TD-20 - Commission Opportunity for KF members

<Top Gear Voice> This is it... the top of the line and most realistic electronic drum kit money can buy... the Ferrari of e-kits if you will. If you are even looking at this listing, then you already know the reputation and playability of this mesh-head kit, so I am not going to go cocking about with a sales pitch as it sells itself. Only serious drummers and percussionists need to continue reading (or those here on KF who wouldn't mind making a couple hundred in commission).

Guitar Center and Sam Ash both sell this kit WITHOUT hardware (stool, pedals, hi-hat stand, snare stand) for $5900. My price of $4000 includes the entire original kit, plus the following hardware:

DW-7000 Double Bass Pedals
DW-5000LT Hi-hat stand and pedal
Sound Percussion Throne
Tama RoadPro Snare stand

In addition to the above, I am also including:

One PD-8 dual-trigger pad with clamp and cable
Behringer Eurorack MXB1002 10 channel stereo mixer (http://www.behringer.com/MXB1002/index.cfm?lang=ENG)
One pair long patch cables for mixer
One pair short patch cables for mixer
One printed owners manual for drum kit in binder
Two 2GB CF cards for recording and building custom kits

Most of the clamps have been replaced with Gibraltar Road Series Multiclamps. Assorted pairs of drumsticks are also included, along with a few drum keys.

Kit has never been gigged, but has been played and enjoyed in a non-smoking environment. It is in great condition and everything works perfectly.

You are welcome to come and play it prior to purchase - HOWEVER I am not a Guitar Center. Don't come to play unless you intend to pay (meaning you are serious about purchase)... or in the words of Al Pacino - "Don't waste my M F'n time!" :)

Kit is turn-key and ready to play. All you need are an amp/speakers or headphones.

You get everything you see in the pictures below and more (less the tv, dvd player, speakers, headphones, fan and rug of course).

** As I mentioned above - if someone here on KF is responsible for finding the sale, there is $200 (5%) in it for them (one winner only :P).

Hmmm that's weird, I just realized that there are some ads for drum sets above, how di the site know?

Hah... watch closer - there are ALWAYS ads associated with keywords in the thread.

DAMMIT I WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i almost bought one for like, $450. they didn't know what they had. MAN i kick myself every single day for not getting it..

i see you have the double bass, too... MMmmmm

i'll say somethin to a buddy of mine. he's been lookin for a TD-20. anyone who doubts sro will be shot. this kit is NOT a cheapy, fake sounding kit. it's indistinguishable from a wood set when you hear it. just as solid, precise and sensitive as well..

Actually - it is even moreso now than it was before. Roland has just released the TDW-20 expansion board for this system, and it adds a lot more nuance to the kit overall, and realism to hihats and cymbals, adds a bunch of instruments, patterns, and preset kits with authentic sounds from a number of manufacturers. The expansion board costs a few hundred dollars, but reviews across the board say it is well worth it.
