Custom Kawasaki 650 ADV Bike
I'm throwing this out there to see if anyone else shares my same taste.... I'm not in any hurry to sell this nor do I have to sell it.... I'm only listing this because I'm currently in the middle of a major house renovation so I will not be riding any of my bikes for a while.... On top of that.... When I do go riding I've been doing mostly dual sport stuff....
So... On to the bike.....
This bike started life as a 2009 Kawasaki ER6n naked sport bike.... It's a very close cousin to the Ninja 650 AND the Versys 650.... So I have used parts from both in this build...... When I purchased this last year the previous owner had already started the conversion using a KLR 650 front end... After riding it a few times I wasn't happy with the high speed stability of the bike with the KLR front end... Plus.... I wanted to ride 80% (or more) on road and it was setup as a 50/50 bike with the KLR front end on it.... So a friend and I were on a ride together when he asked if I would be willing to sell some of the parts so he could build something similar with his wife's crash Ninja 650... I said sure so we struck a deal and I dismantled the bike.... After about 8 months of assembly this is what I came up with....

Here is a list of what has been done:
- brand new set of RAD Hubs laced to Excel rims (19x2.5 up front and 17x5 in the rear)
- Versys 650 frontend with custom machine triple trees to accept the OEM ER6n Heaglight
- Trees were powder coated black after machine work was completed
- YZF-R1 rear shock machine to fit the ER6n swing arm
- Braided front brake lines
- SW Mototeck Crash bars
- R&G radiator guard
- Low foot peg brackets
- I have a whole box of miscellaneous parts that will go with the bike
- Clean and clear title in hand
Bike has 9600 original miles, engine is all stock and runs flawless... It's located 40 miles north of Atlanta Georgia and I need $5000 to out right sell it..... Trades will also be considered...
