Ok, so I did a engine swap. I'm trying to figure a good price to charge for my 95 zx9r engine. It has around 20k on it and was working when removed, its just missing the clutch cover. There are several people interested but I have no idea what would be a fair/reasonable price to ask for it. Throw some numbers at me so I can get it out of storage and my bike back inside!!

For a newer bored zx9r with <7000 mi. Too fast But what's a reasonable price to sell the one that was removed for?

 

ben, there is a big market for these motors in dirt track midget cars. You should be able to get at least $750-$1000 if you target these guys. If it's for a zx-9 biker like me (who still rides this old stuff) you may not get as much, just because the demand isn't there. However, having said that, if you're going to part it out, I would be interested in further discussion.
